Heather Anglin received the maximum prison sentence of three years on Friday for a dog attack last November that killed a man in the city of Madera.
The Madera Police Department, which investigated the case, reported Anglin’s sentence on a Facebook post.
Anglin entered a guilty plea to a felony charge of failing to control a dangerous animal on Jan. 24, according to the Madera County District Attorney’s Office.
Dog Had History of Aggression
The police investigation found that Anglin allowed her dog to get loose, resulting in the death of Lasaro Macedo in the bed of the Fresno River.
Witnesses said that the dog had previously bitten a person. And, on another occasion, the dog chased two people up into a tree, where they stayed for two hours until Anglin arrived.

Awesome actually she should receive many more years but being this happen in California with more laws than any other state that equal most of the real criminals get sent home to do it again. With that being said I raise Queensland healers that are smarter than most individuals and my dogs don’t ever move an inch unless they are told too, and I can almost bet you that she doesn’t even own a piece of real property no responsibility and then no remorse is how those individuals think.

HOMELESS FOLKS DONT HAVE “REAL PROPERTY” THATS BECAUSE THEY ARE HOMELESS. AS FOR HAVING PETS THEY HAVE NOT ONLY THE RIGHT BUT THE NEED AS WELL. HER DOGS WERE JUST PROTECTING HER AND HER PROPERTY. TRY BEING A HOMELESS WOMAN LIVING IN THE RIVER, THEY ARE AT THE MERCY OF RAPISTS AND WORSE.
