U.S. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue is on a West Coast tour.
On Tuesday (Feb. 13), he visited the World Ag Expo in Tulare, answering questions during a Town Hall. He then spoke with GV Wire, for the latest in our “Take 5” series.
Among the subjects Perdue discussed:

The future of NAFTA.
His thoughts on impending immigration bills and ensuring a reliable farm workforce.
Delivering on the Trump campaign’s promise for more water to Valley farmers.
Regulations that he says should be repealed.
And, his surprising answer as to who has better peaches: his home state of Georgia or Fresno County (where it is a Top 10 crop).
